Family

I believe to create a successful blog it needs multiple topics or pages. Hence the page title. I am sure everyone has experience both good times and bad times with "the family." That what this page is about sharing those moments with others. Everyone in my family understands what I mean. You have those family members that you hope to never see again. Then you have those other members that are your best friends around holidays and special events.

Individuals lives their own life everyday 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Family tends to drift apart not entirely on purpose.  Sometimes it is just where life takes us as we  try to follow our dreams.  When we hit that dead end or bump in the road and time stops or slows down most individuals need support.  A shoulder to cry to on, someone to listen/talk to. or just a help getting back on  our feet. always. This is difficult for many people must draw a line when it concerns helping family members out during a rough time.

We often joke or make rather rude comments when outsiders, (In-laws, Step-Parents, Role Models, etc)  becomes a part of the family and there is a disagreement.  This brings up, how long does that status last? Does marriage help solidified that bond? Does death nullifies a bond? I believe these are rhetorical questions without an incorrect reasonable  argument.  Getting people to agree one way or another is bigger than "Nino Brown" (New Jack City).

When I wake up I try to focus on the positives, being grateful for my path that I took in life, my family (Step-Parents) and, In-laws. I can admit we still have our ups and downs.  However, at he end of the day we can forgive and move-on.  I believe without a doubt that my family will not let me down when I really need them.

I will not go too deep on my family for now.  Just wanted to share my thoughts and say that I have a wonderful family. This includes my wife our three (young women) girls , my moms side of the family (Las Vegas), my wife's family(In-Laws), my Step-Father, and his side of the family (Chicago).  If I did not have this support system in my life I am unsure of where I would be today.
